Introduction

On behalf of the Northeast Technical Assistance Center (NETAC), we are pleased to offer this resource for students and parents who may be interested in alternatives to traditional postsecondary education. This directory contains information about less than two-year programs found in the northeastern United States region served by NETAC.

NETAC is one of four regional centers dedicated to working with postsecondary institutions to improve educational access and enhance opportunities for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

NETAC, which is located on the campus of the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, a college of Rochester Institute of Technology, serves the states and territories of Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

NETAC offers workshops, regional conferences, informational guides, and consultations to help postsecondary programs initiate and/or improve the accessibility of their programs for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. NETAC has site coordinators in every state and territory in its region to assist interested persons.

We invite you to contact the programs listed in this directory for more information about their respective offerings.

Sincerely,
